Greicy Khafif, Brazilian, lives and works in São Paulo. His practice articulates painting, collage
and interventions with everyday materials, investigating imperfections, noises, and forms of
communication. Influenced by street art and her background in advertising, she develops
research on the feminine universe, memory and identity, with attention to their roots

Khafif about his work “Runaway” (2023):
On October 7, 2023, hundreds of young people were at a festival of
Electronic music in southern Israel when they were surprised by the greatest
terrorist attack in the country’s history. Women were the target of violence
of specific brutality.
In this work, the dress represents an escape from this scenario: the countless
attempts, most of them unsuccessful. The white and the dirty bar dragging
On the ground they are the memorial of so many marriages that will never take place
celebrated.
