Lygia Clark at The Guggenheim Bilbao

Dan Galeria is pleased to share with our main public that has contributed with the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao with the selection of some of the artworks presented in the solo show of the artist Lygia Clark, including the painting “O Violoncelista”, one of the most important pieces of the exhibition.

Curated by Geaninne Gutiérrez-Guimarães, the show “Lygia Clark: Painting as an Experimental Field, 1948–1958” presented from March 6 until October 35 a reexamination of Clark’s formative years from 1948 to 1958, experimenting figuration and abstraction to articulate the visual language that defined her production.
