Sesc Ipiranga received the work “Ents”, by Denise Milan, artist represented by Dan Galeria Contemporânea. The piece is part of the Sesc Art Collection and had been at Sesc Vila Mariana since 2005.

The work deals with a myth of the Ikolen ethnicity and tells that men were born and lived for a long time inside a stone and until a curumim, who had the help of parakeets and macaws freed them, thus giving rise to the various Amerindian peoples.

The work is available for visitation from Tuesday to Friday, from 9am to 9:30pm, Saturday, from 10am to 9:30pm, and Sunday and holidays, from 10am to 6pm.
