Is a Visual Artist who works with an emphasis on Painting, Master in Textiles and Fashion, by EACH – USP, her research was: American cinema in the first decades of the 20th century and the construction of female stereotypes: some analyses.

In her recent work, Laura uses photographs of routine domestic scenes as references. She is interested in its automation and consequent invisibility and, over which, she removes objects that can be mirrored or wearable with specific symbologies to the medium, which she stages and photographs so that they become a pictorial reference. She uses oil paint as a material, due to the tradition of the technique itself and, due to the possibilities of producing subtle variations in skin tones in the representation of the figure that merges with the environment in which he lives. With this work, she addresses the mental, physical, and emotional burden of women who perform daily tasks in their domestic environments and the feeling of invisibility within this context.
